Brazil Infrastructure Company was founded by five Brazilian telecommunications veterans that came together with the same idea that Brazil is currently in need of additional infrastructure providers to assist the carriers with the planned buildout to bring Brazil’s countrywide network up to top world class standards.

Brazil's telecom infrastructure industry is undergoing a transformative boom, propelled by substantial investments and technological advancements. Major cities flaunt cutting-edge networks offering lightning-fast internet and seamless mobile connectivity, courtesy of industry leaders like Vivo, TIM, and Claro.

This digital revolution extends to rural areas, where innovative solutions are bridging the connectivity gap, empowering communities with vital communication tools and access to online services. Government initiatives and private sector collaborations are driving progress, fostering a more inclusive and connected society. With a bright future ahead, Brazil's telecom landscape promises boundless opportunities for economic growth, social development, and technological innovation.

Alex Sepehri-Nik
Alex Sepehri-Nik has been working in the Brazilian cellular infrastructure market for 15 years. He co-founded Brazil Tower Company (“BTC”) in August 2011 in an environment where the Brazilian tower-sharing market was very young and unfamiliar. Alex served as President of BTC from August 2011 to April 2015. The company quickly became one of the leading Built-to-Suit (“BTS”) independent towercos in Brazil In terms of tower count, BTC was recently ranked the 7th largest independent towercos in Brazil. In April 2015, Alex co-founded Arqueiro Telecom. Arqueiro Telecom provides “shared backhaul” to the same Brazilian wireless carriers as BTC; taking the infrastructure-sharing model from just “passive” infrastructure (i.e. towers), and bringing the same concept to “active” infrastructure – in this case high-capacity microwave links, offered on a shared basis, for backhaul of telecommunications. Prior to Brazil, Alex lived in the San Francisco Bay Area, and worked in Silicon Valley, where he served as General Counsel & Secretary of the Board of Directors to Amber Networks (acquired by Nokia) and Telephia (acquired by the Nielsen Company and now named Nielsen Mobile).
